Interior Design

I have also been involved in interior design. Here are photos and graphics I generated for PubMatic new headquarter offices in Silicon Valley.

PubMatic Headquarter

Several ideas were developed for all the different walls and windows around the new office. The main idea was to use their company color scheme and have a blue or green line run across the office carpets and walls. The small rooms were painted in a bright blue or green, the short walls were covered in an image, but for the longest wall, a custom vector design was created based on a design theme that illustrates the fact that PubMatic has offices around the globe, and these are marked on maps of their locations and tied together by similar lines and streaks of color as seen in the rest of the office.

Stained glass

In order to provide some privacy in the glass offices, I designed these multi colored window stickers. The concept was developed on an image in Photoshop to illustrate my idea.

Small office wall

Small meeting rooms had several concept designs. The design we ended up with is the one on the top, see images below.

Long Wall #1

Initial Idea for this long wall was quite simple and used only vector graphics, which scales well.

Developing a different design, using crystalline pattern that looks like mountains, in PubMatics colors.

Yet another concept, this time using a background image overlaid with a bold chevron pattern was easy to align with existing features such as doors.

While initially intended for a different wall, this was the start of the final design. Streaks of color radiating from RWC HQ to the other global locations.

Scaling the country outlines to better incorporate them in the theme

Keeping the main theme but instead using line drawings of the city skylines of the other PubMatic locations instead adds more interest.

Window graphics

The idea here is to give the exterior windows a cathedral effect, when the sun shines through the windows it will be multi colored.

Detail of Final Design

Seen here is a closeup of New York. The full length is 20 meters. The graphics were made in Illustrator and totals apx 150.000 node points, so that coastlines, cities, even piers are accurately depicted which was needed at this scale.
