Transportation Design Projects
A brief selection of automotive design sketches and renders spanning concept development, production surfacing, and bespoke component design — including a Bonneville land speed record vehicle, truck grille concepts, OEM rim panels, and an award-winning Michelin concept car.
Bonneville land speed record project
My work on the Bonneville land speed record project spanned both physical fabrication and precision CAD. On the fabrication side I worked on carbon fiber wheel components and fiberglass bodywork, manufacturing parts to exacting tolerances where fit and finish directly impact aerodynamic performance.
In parallel I developed an accurate scale CAD model for use in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis where I was handed a rough Alias model and bringing the surfaces up to class-A quality, ensuring the simulation geometry faithfully represented the physical vehicle.
Truck Front End Design Concepts
Wheel Concepts
Concept development for a line of OEM wheel covers, exploring the design freedom that chrome-plated plastic offers over traditional cast aluminum, producing a high volume of hand sketches and Alias models across multiple design directions for client presentation.
